We love to see the transformations of older buildings, especially when those buildings can be used to house people.

That’s why stories like these are always going to touch our hearts. This story is sure to strike a chord with everyone who is tired of seeing all of the empty and rundown malls that dot small-town America.

Online shopping has ravaged a number of these malls. They simply do not serve the same function that they used to. In many instances, these malls remain open in their diminished form. However, these Milwaukee developers had a much better plan for this rundown mall and we are loving every second of it. The idea that they had was absolutely perfect!

Grand Avenue Mall in downtown Milwaukee has seen better days but thanks to their efforts, it is now back up and running.

They did not renovate the building with the idea of making it into a better shopping mall, though. These developers had a different plan for this structure entirely.

It has become an apartment building and the end results are incredible. The apartments are very roomy and there is even a pickleball court for everyone to use. We can hardly wrap our minds around it. Can you believe that people are now playing pickleball in the same area where Milwaukee residents were once getting their shop on?

The complex is known as the Plankinton Clover and when Sarita shared a video with her followers, it quickly went viral.

“Milwaukee is going through a mass renovation!” her caption reads. “Investors tap in!!” Once we got the chance to see more, we were able to understand why she was so excited. This complex looks awesome.

Now, it is time for more malls to undergo similar renovations so residents of other cities can enjoy the same benefits.
