The hack that has been provided here has received tons of praise and rightfully so. As it turns out, we can save big on our McDonald’s breakfast purchases by ordering our eggs separately.

When you head to McDonald’s, the Sausage McMuffin and Sausage Biscuit can be had for just $1.19. Those sandwiches become much more costly when you add eggs, though. This will push your costs to over $3.50.

“What? It costs $2.60 to get one egg?” the host HellthyJunkFood says in the video. “I can get a dozen eggs at [the store] for $2.15.” Points were made!

All you need to do is grab the cheaper sandwich and ask McDonald’s to provide a folded egg on the side. These eggs will cost $1 apiece by themselves.

A decision this simple will save you serious money over the long haul if you are someone who gets McDonald’s breakfast on a regular basis. If you order this breakfast sandwich in a typical manner, you are going to be spending at least $4. Those who followed along with the hack, on the other hand? They are only going to spend $2.19.

“You’re getting ripped off,” the host shares and we fully understand where they are coming from.

The comments are full of people who are beyond glad to save a few bucks. While there are some who prefer the round egg instead, those who love the folded egg are sure to love this one.
