Cats are often going viral for their annoying faces or mischievous antics, but one adorable duo is going viral for an entirely different reason: Their sweet relationship!
Marmite and Toast aren’t your typical cats that are always up to no good. Instead, they’re the biggest love bugs and they absolutely adore one another!
Their owner shared a compilation video of the two on TikTok and it’s already received over 1 million views and thousands of likes and comments. People can’t get over how adorably sweet Marmite and Toast are!
Their owner wrote, “When your cats have the best relationship you’ve ever seen,” in a text overlay in the video.
The 21-second clip features both cats cuddling sweetly throughout the house, licking each other, and hiding away in secret spots together, like behind the couch and inside a box.
Their relationship is so pure and genuine, but their owner revealed that it wasn’t a natural friendship. They had Toast already, but they adopted Marmite as a kitten over the pandemic.
In the comments on a TikTok video, their owner explained that it took a few weeks to get Toast and Marmite comfortable with one another. They put them in the same room together, supervised them closely, and got them used to each other’s scents.
They also fed the cats at the same time and eventually, they started playing together and becoming more friendly! Now, they’re the best of friends. Just check out the clip below:
