When a new Disney movie comes out, parents everywhere rejoice because they hope it is the next flick that is going to keep their children engaged.

Of course, we all understand the benefits of limiting screen time but let’s face it; if a child loves a movie, it makes it easier to get chores done around the home.

One of the newest movies to hit the scene is Encanto. After it showed up in November, parents everywhere were thrilled with how much it seemed to engage their children. This wasn’t only with the storyline, it has one of those soundtracks that just seems to get stuck in your head.

That can be either a good thing or a bad thing. After all, if you happen to be one of those parents with “We Don’t Talk about Bruno” as an earworm, then you probably are looking for a little sweet relief.

As it turns out, we may be able to get some relief thanks to the suggestions of Lin-Manuel Miranda. After all, he is the one responsible for many of the earworms in Disney’s movies, including those in Hamilton and Moana.

Miranda appeared on Jimmy Kimmel live in a spoof for a medicine called “Encantix.” That medication promises to give parents a little relief when their children have been watching Encanto and the music gets stuck in their heads.

The skit shows Miranda in a lab coat, saying: “Have the songs of Encanto brought your life to a joy-filled, yet grinding halt? Now there’s hope. Encantix, the only prescription medication clinically proven to curb your cravings for the Encanto soundtrack.”

If parents would like to ‘take a break from the sonic delights of national treasure Lin-Manuel Miranda’, they only have to pop a pill in each ear.

One mother is shown on camera explaining that before she had access to Encantix, her children were playing “We Don’t Talk about Bruno” up to 300 times per day. Thanks to those special pills, they now are down to only 125.

Jimmy Kimmel Live security guard Guillermo Rodriguez, who just so happens to be holding a drink at the time, goes on to say, “Now I can spend less time singing and more time drinking at work.”

This miracle drug tends to target “We Don’t Talk about Bruno” and it doesn’t focus on any of the other catchy songs from the movie.
