Ask any mother and they will let you know that life can be a struggle some days. It’s enjoyable having children and we want to make sure that we take full advantage of those special moments, but there are going to be times when we just want to throw our hands up and run screaming into another room.
One of the difficult times that many mothers face is when they have to get their kids to take medicine. If that medicine is in a syringe, any mother realizes it’s going to be a struggle.
First of all, the child is already in a bad mood because they are not feeling well. They also don’t tend to enjoy doing things that are out of their ordinary and sometimes, the medicine just tastes bad.
If you’ve ever experienced this for yourself, you will appreciate what a 28-year-old mother of five has to say on the subject. She went on TikTok in order to share a hack and it has gone viral.
She says: “I’ve been a mom for ten years and never knew this trick. If your baby does not do well taking medications from a syringe you have to try this.”
What she did was put the medication into the lid of a clean bottle. As the baby was drinking her formula, she swapped out the lid and it worked perfectly.
She says: “This trick works really well on my baby even if she’s not eating though, so I think it could work either way.”
