2021 is here and El Pollo Loco is trying to make sure that we are eating well. Pollo Fit Bowls are one of our favorite items from this restaurant and now we have the chance to enjoy them in an even healthier way. This year, lower calorie and lower carb versions are going to be available. As an added bonus, double the amount of citrus-marinated, fire-grilled chicken, organic super greens, and cilantro lime cauliflower rice will be used.

Let’s start with the Double Protein Mexican Caesar Pollo Fit Bowl. There are only 4 grams of net carbs, which is a great place to start. These bowls are keto-friendly, come with a double portion of citrus-marinated, fire-grilled chopped chicken breast, organic super greens, a lettuce blend with red cabbage, sliced radishes, crumbled cotija cheese, freshly sliced avocados, Tapatío seasoning, and a lemon wedge.

As for the Double Protein Fajita Pollo Fit Bowl, this comes with 52 grams of carbs. A double portion of citrus-marinated, fire-grilled chopped chicken breast serves as the base. From there, queso fresco, Tapatío seasoning, freshly sliced avocados, red cabbage, and seasoned black beans are added.

Last but certainly not least, we have the Double Protein Avocado Pollo Fit Bowl, which is also great for the keto-friendly diner. The double portion of citrus-marinated, fire-grilled chopped chicken breast is used as the base before the organic super greens, a lettuce blend with red cabbage, and cilantro lime cauliflower rice are added. The dish is finished with sliced avocados, Tapatío seasoning, house-made pico de gallo salsa, and queso fresco.
