Kala was found wandering the streets of India with a limp. The poor dog was alone and seemed to be struggling, but thankfully, he was spotted by just the right person.
Ujwala with the Stray Animal Foundation of India noticed the poor dog and immediately stopped to help.
Because of his limp, Ujwala feared Kala would struggle to find a home in the area. So, he decided to take the pup back home with him to Florida to increase his odds of finding a forever home.
It took a few weeks to make the arrangements, but Ujwala was finally able to arrange transportation for Kala to travel to Flordia. There, he could get better medical care and get used to the environment of his new life.
The poor dog didn’t know what to do with himself in a house. He stayed in his crate unless prompted to come out for treats. Ujwala was determined to work with Kala until he was comfortable enough to find a new home.
Slowly, Kala grew more and more comfortable with his foster family and new environment. He got used to playing with other dogs, walking on a leash, and doing typical “dog” things like lounging around!
