The product that they just announced is one that we have never seen before. In fact, we must admit that we are a bit surprised that no one else has managed to come up with it. According to FOX 29, the new marshmallows change colors when they are exposed to heat and we have yet to see anything like this in our entire lives. The brand says that these marshmallows have a “secret color-changing ingredient.”
It is going to be utilized right alongside the “jet-puffing technology” that we already know and love. Kraft Heinz, the parent company for Jet-Puffed, is offering even more background on these marshmallows. The color change is going to take place within a mere 10 seconds, so there is no need to wait for too long before the color change takes place.
Does it matter if you like to burn your marshmallow or if you like a lighter roast? Of course not. They are here to make your summer a great one and we cannot wait to spice up our fire pit nights with these bad boys. The marshmallows even come in two different colors: blue and pink.
According to FOX 29, the blue marshmallows turn green once they are burned and the pink ones turn orange. Each package can be had for $2.99. While this is a bit more than the average pack of Jet-Puffed marshmallows, we will be more than happy to purchase some.
As always, you are more than welcome to eat them when they are fresh out of the package as well. There is absolutely no one to stop you from doing so. They do not change color unless they have been warmed, though.
