Jennifer Garner is the type of person who lives to brighten people’s days. We loved seeing her pay for all of the orders behind her at the local Starbucks but she was not done there.
She decided to take to the streets and help those who are in further need. As she shared on Instagram, she put together bags of essential items and gave them to anyone who needed them.
She posted a video, explaining how she puts the bags together and why she does it. It is so nice to see that the celebrities of the world are taking the time to brighten the world around them.
Garner simply wanted to brighten the days of the homelessness in her community in any way that she could. It would be easy for a celebrity of her stature to simply sit back and cut a check. She could post that, too, and we are willing to bet that people would congratulate her for it.
That was not good enough for her, though. She was sure to be seen mingling with the people. That’s what it is all about.
“Random act of kindness: gather these essentials in a quart sized ziploc bag and keep them in your car to give away when you see someone in need. Inspired by my kind friend, @whitneyformt,” she wrote on her Instagram page.
“A pair of thick socks. Kleenex. Hand wipes. Disposable toothbrushes. Chapstick. A couple of granola bars. I forgot this time, but like to add feminine hygiene products, too. Add $5, $10, $20 and a smile,” she continued. These efforts may not seem like a lot to some people but they mean everything to those who are in need.
