This social media influencer recently took a trip to the world’s largest McDonald’s and it is safe to say that she was loving it! Sorry, we could not help ourselves.
Kate Ellison may hail from the United Kingdom but when she took a trip to the United States with her family, she had to pay a visit to this location. In case anyone was wondering, this McDonald’s is situated in Orlando, Florida.
The restaurant, which is known as Epic McD, is an experience unto itself. For those who are staying at the Universal Orlando Resorts, the McDonald’s is located less than a mile away.
“We were interested to see just how epic it was,” Kate said, as she narrated the video. She spent the clip showcasing all of the features that you would not typically find at a normal McDonald’s.
“Inside there is a fish tank, a wood fired pizza oven, a dedicated dessert bar serving things like cake and ice cream,” she said. There were also a number of other entertainment features that she pointed out that are quite intriguing. “A 22-foot play park, a big arcade, and a bunch of other things as well,” she continued.
The Epic McD also offers options that you would not typically find at your local Golden Arches. “On the menu you’ll find things you wouldn’t find at a normal McDonald’s, say for example pasta and pizza,” says Ellison as she navigates the additional kiosks. Her son elected to have a pizza and pasta combo. It was much better than what we expected, too.
According to Ellison, the pasta was served with a “bowl and proper fork and knife and a little bit of garlic bread as well.” She ordered a pizza, too. Hers came with ham on top and she said that it was a very nice meal. The pasta was slightly watery, which is the only complaint that Kate had to make.
This massive restaurant stands at three floors tall and covers a whopping 19,000 square feet. There is even a 30-foot-tall image of Ronald McDonald in the entranceway.

In addition to the traditional menu items that you know and love, you can also order “panini sandwiches, pastas, fresh baked pizza, ice cream and gourmet cakes and specialty breakfast like the Ham&Cheese French Toast and Belgian Waffles.”
