Making Mealtime Meaningful: Discover how we're giving back with the 12T Cares program →

Fast food workers certainly have a lot of funny stories to tell and this one is no different. A former In-N-Out employee is here to tell the tale of the time that they had to explain a very simple concept to one of their customers.

@sarahdavis1729 is a TikTok user who was asked to share the most ridiculous request that she had ever gotten from one of her customers.

According to her video, she was one time asked by an In-N-Out patron if they could have a cheeseburger with no cheese. At first, it seemed like it was an easy request to fulfill but things would soon take a turn.

Sarah asked them if they wanted a hamburger but that was not what they wanted. They told her no and they restated their initial request. At first, she rang up their order as a hamburger, so that they would not be stuck paying for the cheese. The customer saw this and “went off” on her because this is not what they actually wanted.

Sarah made a note for the cook to make the burger and not add cheese. When they finally got the sandwich, they were still enraged. We are just as perplexed as you are.

“So what did she actually want if she wanted the cheese after all???? I’m so confused!” said one viewer and we are right there with them. “A no cheese cheeseburger with cheese please,” said another. We cannot stop laughing. The funniest part for us is that this is the type of order that you would expect from a small child. The fact that it came from a grown adult is even more hilarious.

There are some people out there who simply cannot help themselves. They want to harass innocent workers and they do not care how many days they ruin in the process. Hopefully, this person has since learned how to order. Otherwise, they are going to continue to baffle cashiers for the foreseeable future.

If anything, they should figure it out so that they can actually get the burger that they want without driving themselves crazy in the process.

Kudos to Sarah for managing to keep her cool in this situation. If we were her, we would have thought that we were having a prank played on us by someone who was looking to go viral.
