Now that wearing face masks has become a way of life, we have had to make certain adjustments. We are going to be very honest here, we did not own any face masks before last year. Now, we have a wide range of face masks available and we love to color coordinate. After all, when life gives you lemons, you make lemonade.

Everyone sees your mask now, as opposed to your smile. While some ladies may opt to avoid the makeup right now, we still do ours before we head out. It’s just a matter of routine at this point. Plus, you never know when you may need to pull down your mask. Who doesn’t want to look polished for these moments?

Eye makeup takes on a greater level of importance when we wear masks, as this is one of the only parts of the face that can be seen. Lipstick is often neglected since no one can even see it. Beyond that, lipstick will often come off when we are wearing the mask and leave markings all over the inside.

Some may just decide to stop wearing lipstick altogether but what if we told you that there was a better way? You can still rock the satin lipstick you love without getting it all over your mask. In fact, Michelle Obama’s former makeup artist decided to share her process of avoiding this and it is every bit as amazing as you would have expected.
