This British family is certainly enjoying the Winter Olympics and it is easy to see why. The family loved the events so much, their father soon decided that it was time for them to have some fun at home.

They have created their very own “Home Olympics,” much to the little ones’ delight. Twitter is obsessed with them lately, rightfully so. We can hardly get enough ourselves!

The 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics are here and it is great to see everyone enjoying themselves. We love to see the athletes pouring in from all over the world, gracing our television sets with feats of mastery. Whether you are a fan of snowboarding, ice skating, or the luge, there is always something for everyone at these events.

For those who are unaware of the luge, this is an Olympic event where the competitors hop into a sled that has been designed for one or two people. The lugers also race in the supine position, which means that they are moving face up and feet first. Tristan Brodie, a father of three Birmingham children, decided that he would do everything in his power to duplicate this amazing experience at home.

The results are absolutely spectacular. “Home Olympics, inspired by the luge,” said Brodie in his caption. The video was posted on Twitter and, of course, it took no time at all before the clip went viral.

The children each got the chance to do some “luging,” as the stairs were covered in sheets. Headgear and snow goggles were also provided. The siblings who were not competing were responsible for waving the Union Flag. The spirit of the Olympics must be kept alive at all times.

“My children were excited watching the luge and wanted to try it at home. Not having access to a luge track, we resorted to using the stairs covered in bedsheets,” said Brodie, according to Yahoo!sports. This is the sort of parental ingenuity that must be applauded.
