Making Mealtime Meaningful: Discover how we're giving back with the 12T Cares program →

If there is one thing I think all of us appreciate, it’s getting a good discount. It doesn’t matter if we are shopping online or shopping in our favorite store locally, getting a discount is always going to be welcome.

If you have any need something from the Home Depot, then discounts are also welcome. Sometimes, we just wait for a sale but at other times, we look for ways to get around the system and get a little money off in the process.

It seems as if this may be possible more often than not, and a former employee of Home Depot named Jamie Garman is paving the way. She reveals it all in a video on TikTok, and hundreds of thousands of people have already watched it.

Jamie starts out by saying: “So, I used to work at Home Depot for like eight years or so. This isn’t really a secret, but people don’t really know about it. You don’t have to be a contractor to get contractor discounts.”

The video goes on to reveal that if you are purchasing in bulk, then you can get the discount by asking at the pro-desk or service desk. After your bulk order is submitted to the proper places, they can get you the discount.

This is something the contractors take advantage of on a regular basis. They buy in bulk, so they get a discount.

If you are somebody that buys in bulk for any reason, especially if you’re doing some type of large-scale project, then you can have it sent off by the pro-desk or at the service desk so you can get the discount.

That doesn’t mean, however, that purchasing two sheets of plywood is going to get you a lower price. Jamie spoke up in the comments section to say that she thinks there is a $1000 or $1200 spending limit but if you come back for more, you can always add the bid.
