The trees grow 15 to 25 feet and provide an explosion of beautifully colored blossoms.

The sun is starting to shine, the skies are blue, and the days are longer. Now that the temperatures are rising, this can only mean one thing: Spring is here and summer is right around the corner. This is an important time of year for those who love flowers since they burst into full bloom around the world.

If you’d like to fill your space with a gorgeous flowering tree, Home Depot is now selling a Kwanzan cherry blossom tree that’s equally beautiful and affordable.

Each ready-to-plant cherry blossom tree is $39. They arrive as bare-looking sticks, but with some love and care they can grow and bloom into beautiful trees. You’ll get to watch the evolution, as the partially grown tree start transforms into a full tree that will serve as an explosion of color. The tree is roughly two to four feet tall at first and all that you need to do from there is find the right spot to plant it in.

There are a few things that you should know before you order all of the trees that Home Depot has to offer. For starters, you are going to want to choose an area that has fertile soil and receives at least six hours of sunlight each day.

The trees need to be deeply watered weekly and they are typically drought resistant. Check the top three inches of soil. If they are dry, the tree needs watering.

Lastly, the trees reach a height of 15 to 25 feet when they are fully grown. In an average year, they will sprout anywhere from 1 to 2 feet, so make sure the tree has plenty of space to grow!
