Most people have probably heard of the iconic “Birkin” bag from Hermès. You do not need to be a fashion expert to know all about this iconic bag, which has been name-dropped in all sorts of songs and television shows.

One amazing artist has recreated the Birkin and two other iconic Hermès bags, but he did so in a unique way. Rather than use quality leather like Hermès does, Ben Denzer decided to use vegetables.

He shared photos of the three bags he created using asparagus, cabbage, and cucumber, saying, “Three vegetable Birkin bags for @hermes ! 🥬 + some behind the scenes & fruit outtakes.”

While many designer brands do not take kindly to knock-off designs, Hermès actually shared photos of the bags on their Instagram and gave a shout-out to Ben!

“Enjoy the detour as classic Hermès bags inspire art good enough to eat by @bdenzer,” they wrote in the cabbage of the cabbage bag.
