Wait until you see the reception that he just got when he was at the Cannes Film Festival. The movie premiered in a setting that is more typically associated with Oscar bait films than the typical blockbusters. That does not mean that the audience wasn’t appreciative for what they had just witnessed on the big screen.

This is a statement that is not meant to describe the movie alone. It is about the long and illustrious career that Ford has been able to enjoy.

He has provided us with countless hours of entertainment and has never asked for anything in return. Ford does not take on roles as frequently as he once did, as many are well aware of his passion for aviation.

Everyone deserves the chance to explore their true passions as they age and Ford is not any different in this regard. Now, the fans are finally being given the chance to show their appreciation to him. When the screening of the new Indiana Jones installation was complete, they decided that they could show Ford how much they loved him, as opposed to telling him.

The standing ovation that he received was enough to make us wonder if someone was cutting onions in here. Trust when we tell you that this is going to be a tough one to watch but in the best possible way. The audience rewards him for all of the hard work that he has put in over the years with a standing ovation that lasts for five minutes and leaves the actor shedding major tears.

It is a sight to behold, especially for someone who is as famously gruff as Harrison Ford. We never thought that we would ever see him breaking down into tears like this.

We wish him all of the best going forward, whether he is acting or not.
