Generation Z has been making their presence known on social media for some time now. This latest trend is merely another example of that.
Did you know that they have made prom entrances a thing now? We had never thought of this before but it makes perfect sense to us. Why wouldn’t you want to make your entrance eye-catching?
After all, it is not like we get many opportunities to re-do prom. For most of us, you get two chances at most, although some may have more depending on the rules of their high school. Now, this teen has gone viral on TikTok for the entrance that they have come up with and our hat is off to them. Yes, it is a bit creepy but there is absolutely nothing wrong with that.
Sometimes, you just have to mix it up a little bit. Bri, who goes by @tysgirlfriend on TikTok, is the one who shared the video and it is an absolute riot.
When the clip begins, we see a black hearse pulling up to a school that looks like any other American high school that you will typically see. There is even a red carpet that leads up to the entrance of the school.
Once the hearse has been parked, there are two “pallbearers” that step out of the vehicle. In addition to these helpers, there are also two young men who are dressed in their finest suits. One of them just so happens to be her boyfriend, Ty. The hearse is opened and the young men pull out a coffin. It looks just like a traditional burial.
They set the coffin down on the pavement and when they open it, they extend their hands. They help Bri out of the coffin, who happens to be very much alive, of course. It is such a creative idea, we cannot stop laughing. Yes, it is a bit morbid but that does not make it any less funny. If “I have a dark sense of humor” was a person, it would definitely be Bri.
