Making Mealtime Meaningful: Discover how we're giving back with the 12T Cares program →

Considering how much time we’ve spent indoors this past year, it’s safe to say that plenty of us have done our fair share of streaming. Personally, I’ve gotten caught up on all the shows I’d been putting off watching, and now I’m starting to scramble to try and find new things to watch. Of course, I’m also very happy to re-watch a few of my all-time favorites. Given the year that it has been, the familiarity and comfort of certain favored shows really can do wonders to cheer you up.

And if you are a big fan of Friends, then you will be excited about the news that you could potentially make some decent money to binge five seasons!

BestValueSchools.org is looking to offer five lucky viewers the opportunity to make $1000 just by rewatching the series’ first five seasons. Given that it adds up to 45 hours of tv total, you’re looking at making around $22 per hour – not bad for a few days spent on the couch!

But that’s not all, you’d also receive a DoorDash gift card worth $100, plus merch such as a Friends T-shirt, a mug with a functioning chalkboard, a Tervis tumbler, and a fleece blanket that has a Central Park motif on it and says, “This is my Friends watching blanket.”

While the gig definitely sounds like a cool one full of awesome perks, there are a few things expected of you. One is that you will be responsible for finding the streams of the Friends seasons yourself. However, one of the lucky winners will be gifted the complete 10-season Blu-ray collection by BestValueSchools.org.

And the second expectation is that you will document your viewing experience online, so you will need to have at least one social media account that you can post to. Additionally, the application from BestValueSchools.org states that they are “looking for Friends fans that have lively, outgoing social media personalities and who would love to post about their Friends marathon using the hashtag #bestvalueschools.org and @bestvalueschools.org.” Other than those terms, the applicant must also be 18 years old and live within the US.

If you’re reading this and becoming excited because it sounds like your kind of gig, then you can easily fill out an application. They will ask for your social media handles along with some personal details, as well as a 200-word-or-less explanation of why you would be a great fit. The application is open until the 31 of March, and you can click here to apply. Good luck!
