There are few names in the mac and cheese game that are as recognizable as Kraft. It’s an institution.

Whenever I’m back visiting the states, it’s one of the things that I always have to pack in my suitcase. There’s just something so comforting about that pasta and cheese – especially when it comes from Kraft.

For years, Kraft has made its mac and cheese to be a delightful boxed treat – just cook the noodles and stir in some milk and butter to the cheese sauce and you’re done in less than 10 min.

But for fans of Kraft Mac & Cheese, get ready for some incredible news! The classic mac and cheese is not just going to be found on the pasta aisle anymore, but also in the freezer section of grocery stores as well!

The brand’s new frozen meal will be a ready-to-heat, single-serve dish that is available in both Original Cheddar or Four Cheese. The meals are already pre-cooked and just need popped into the microwave for a super simple way to enjoy the classic taste of Kraft.

According to WPTV, in a statement released by Kraft, the company said that the two flavors are created using “perfectly cooked macaroni pasta covered in a creamy, homestyle cheese sauce and topped with real cheddar cheese.” If you’re itching to get your hands on a new Kraft mac&cheese meal, you can find them at Target for about $3.49 each.
