If you spend any amount of time on Twitter, you already realize there is no shortage of things to argue about. It seems as if there is something new on the horizon, however, and it is sparking a lot of controversy.

This isn’t some type of political issue and it’s not a problem with one person not liking another person, it’s a problem with pizza. That’s right, there is an argument raging because a restaurant in Iowa is putting Froot Loops on pizza.

According to Today, the new dish is available at Fong’s pizza and if you’re looking for it on the menu, it’s called the “Loopy Fruits Pizza.” It’s not meant to be a savory pizza but rather, it is a dessert dish that includes mozzarella cheese, Froot Loops, and a sweet cream cheese sauce.

A lot of people seem at least curious about it, if not disgusted.

According to Today, the co-founder of the restaurant, Gwen page, said, “We wanted to provide an option that we thought would be fun for children because of the suburban market. But also we love doing things that are just off-the-wall.” It seems as if they were looking for a way to make a unique experience for their visitors. It also seems as if they may have hit the mark.

Many people are arguing that this type of pizza is nothing short of an abomination. One person calls it an affront to every Italian and another, sacrilege.

There were others who appreciated the possibilities of having something different from a pizza restaurant. One person argued that it would be disgusting if it were on a regular pepperoni pizza but it’s perfect for a dessert pizza.

And the debate rages on.
