Tasmin Dhaliwal is a Toronto native who is here to offer up a game-changing hack for all those who are looking for some free eats.
If you are a Costco shopper, you are definitely going to want to read on and learn more. She manages to make full meals out of their samples, which happen to be a bit more elaborate than the ones that you are probably used to seeing.
The viral videos that she shares on TikTok attest to this. These small delicacies end up turning into three-course meals and she is more than happy to give the audience all of the tips that they need.
“The idea to start going to Costco for samples came on while I was at a Costco location grocery shopping,” she said in a recent interview with the New York Post. “When I stumbled onto a Costco sample kiosk … and five or six more following that one I was too full to hit up the food court,” she continued.
This was not her intention at first. She was not looking to gorge on free food but she ended up being overwhelmed by the number of free samples that Costco has to offer. In her words, she was “interested in creating a video in the food court trying Costco food.”
“I had the idea of sharing the samples as ‘my meal’ and my video got a great response on my food TikTok,” the Canadian social media starlet shared. By the time she finished putting together all of these samples, she was left with a meal that included cookie bits, oatmeal squares, walnut salad, chips and dip and salami slices.
“I feel like a mouse,” she writes in a different video where she is trying out all sorts of different cheeses.
