Chip and Joanna Gaines are known for being able turn any rundown space into a renovated thing of beauty. And the couple will now be featuring brand new episodes of “Fixer Upper” on their TV channel, Magnolia Network. The couple will be renovating homes in Texas starting next year, and we’ll be able to watch it on TV.

The “Fixer Upper” show originally aired on HGTV. But, after a successful run of five seasons, the show went off the air in 2018. Its final season did go out with a bang as it ended up drawing in 17 million viewers each week during its last season. As Chip and Joanna shared with PEOPLE, it was a very emotional moment the day that they wrapped up their final episode of the series. They said, “We knew we needed a break and a moment to catch our breath. But we also knew we weren’t done dreaming about ways to make old things new again.”

During their time off the air, the couple remained quite busy. Not only did they have their fifth child, but they also renovated and opened up a coffee shop as well as a home goods store in Waco, Texas. In between those projects the couple also renovated an old hotel, as well as launched their television network.

While they were busy with renovation projects and such works that they had a passion for, they also missed being about to share the untold stories of the families whose homes they’d renovated. And that is when they decided to get back into the show – something that they were very excited to announce. They made the announcement way back in 2018 when they opened up about the plans to launch Magnolia Network. HGTV has even stepped in to partner with the Gaines in order to reboot the show to fit the new television network’s brand. The “Fixer Upper” reboot isn’t the only series that is already lined up to begin airing on the network.
