We’re all familiar with the traditional cakes that are made for birthday celebrations or weddings. They can be quite beautiful and elaborate designs, created out of fondant and frosting. Some pastry chefs are taking things a different direction completely.
In fact, one Turkish pastry chef named Tuba Geckil is setting the internet ablaze with discussion after creating very realistic cakes. Have you ever wanted to have a cake that looks like a toilet paper roll or a toaster for your next birthday? Geckil would be your pastry chef.

Showing off her skills on her Instagram page, this talented pastry chef really puts an insane amount of detail into her realistic cakes that resemble everyday objects. Looking through her Instagram page, it’s clear that she is able to make a wide variety of different cakes. She’s made a cake that looks like a pizza, as well as a Donald Trump cake a few years back.
But the cake creation that is currently making everyone talk is the one that was inspired by raw chicken breasts. Geckil’s attention to detail has resulted in some very confusing, and less-than-appetizing, cakes that look exactly like uncooked chicken breasts.
The unappetizing cakes have gone viral, with people from all around the world commenting on the social media post. And one of the very satisfying things about the chicken cakes, as well as some of her other ones, is getting to watch them being sliced in half. There is something gratifying about seeing something ordinary turn out to be a cake.
