Her detailed reproductions of food look so real, you are going to find yourself wondering if you have inadvertently taken a trip to the grocery store.

Alice has created her own artsy pantry, which has been stocked with all sorts of foodstuffs. The name-brand candy bars, cans of soda, bags of crunchy snacks, boxes of cereal, tins of anchovies, and Chinese takeout all look amazingly real.

This is not merely a form of art to her, either. She puts together these items as a means of making a larger point about product consumption.

“Painting by sewing for me is the format to address deeply negative, culturally constructed indifference. I create 3d embroidered felt sculptures of everyday objects to provide an opportunity to rethink these items we take for granted. I draw inspiration from the reality that surrounds me, consumerism, and everyday objects,” Alice said, according to PikchurMag.
