Now that more people are embracing plant-based or vegan diets, it’s important for companies to keep up with the demand for new options.

Dunkin Donuts is one company that’s been making changes to cater to the growing vegan crowd, like including an avocado toast on sourdough bread on its menu. They also offer Beyond Sauge on a breakfast sandwich, along with dairy-free milk.

Now though, Dunkin is taking things a step further by introducing 41 new vegan doughnuts to its menus in Belgian. They announced the news on their Instagram account, saying, “NEW NEW NEW πŸ’š VEGAN DONUTS. Yes, your prayers have been heard! πŸ’šπŸ© From today on you can order more than 40 (!!!) vegan donuts via www.dunkindelivery.be. But keep an eye on our account because our vegan donuts will also be available in our stores from mid-May!”

There is no official word about the presence of vegan Dunkin’ Donuts in the US at this time, though the comments on the Instagram post were flooded with people in the states asking for them to be brought this way. In the meantime, all we can do is admire these donuts from afar and dream of a day when we can travel to Belgium to try out some of these great-looking flavors.

One day, we hope that we will be able to access all of our favorite vegan foods in the United States. A lot of progress has already been made with more companies catering to vegetarians, vegans, and plant-based lifestyles.
