Making Mealtime Meaningful: Discover how we're giving back with the 12T Cares program →

Summer has already gone down the tubes and we’re just waiting for fall at this point. We are ready to wear our hoodies again. It’s time to start hitting up bonfires (while maintaining proper social distancing guidelines, of course). Football is even getting ready to make a comeback. If you are anything like us, you are already looking over the NFL and SEC conference schedules.

Life was certainly a heck of a lot more simple before COVID-19 came along and started to ruin everything. These months spent at home have given us time to think back on our childhoods. You know how it goes. You’re stuck in the house, so you have a couple of beers to pass the time. Before you know it, you’re thinking back on the “good old days.”

Remember when all you needed to be happy were some video games a good snack? Dunkaroos remembers. Martin House Brewing remembers. These two entities have come together to provide you with a beer that combines the beverages of adulthood with the innocence of youth. The limited-edition beer is hitting the marketplace and we cannot wait to have one or two.

Dunkabroos 8% – Ale brewed with Cookies, Vanilla Cream, Lactose, and Sprinkles. We actually did it! This beer is nostalgia in a can. It wasn’t easy tracking down all these tasty treats for “research” but we were able to find a few. The flavors have been replicated perfectly. It’s a sweet, cookie filled brew that even has that frosting finish (like when you save all the cream for the last cookie – yall know what we’re talking about)! Dunkabroos goes on sale today. It is a taproom only release. 4packs are $20. Four 4pack limit per person. We open at noon. Hope yall have as much fun drinking this as we did brewing it. Cheers! #dunkabroos #90s #takemeback

The Dunkaroos 8% Ale is here, and yes, that 8% is the ABV. The beer is brewed with sprinkles, vanilla cream, lactose, and cookies. This may sound like an impossible task but Martin House Brewing actually pulled it off! Luckily, they were able to track down the necessary cookies for their own research purposes.

The result is a must-have beverage that will become a permanent mainstay in our fridge. The cookie filled brew is very sweet, with a frosting finish. Thin Mint Stout brew is also available and the company is in the process of perfecting a Warheads sour beer as well.
