If you are anything like us, you probably use your oven an awful lot. It’s one of the most important items in the kitchen, if not THE most important. The oven is especially crucial for anyone who does not own a microwave. The only downside to using the oven a lot? It builds up with dirt and grime fast.

So what can we do once the oven has seen better days? All of the filth and food build-up can be tough to tackle. Unfortunately, the harsher cleaning chemicals that are designed for this purpose can be tough to use. We don’t appreciate these chemicals or the smells that they create. Turns out, there’s a natural DIY cleaner that’s just as effective, easy to make, and incredibly cheap.

To get started, you’ll need a 1/4 cup of dish soap, a half cup of lemon juice, a cup of vinegar, and 1 1/4 cups of water. Add all the ingredients to a spray bottle and give it a light shake.

Take the solution and spray it inside of the stove. Make sure that you coat the inside of the door, too. Give the solution a chance to sit for a little while, then grab a damp cloth, wipe the solution away, and your oven should look brand new again.

Have you tried this DIY oven cleaner? What do you think?
