Deaf Dog Tries Her Very Hardest To Let Out A Bark
Dogs often learn from watching other dogs as young pups or being around their mothers. They want to fit in and go along with what the rest of the pack is doing, even when they’re a little bit different.
Reese was born without hearing, but she wasn’t going to let that slow her down. The Australian cattle dog was welcomed into Samantha Ramos’ home where she was welcomed by an older cattle dog, Roxanne.

Reese and Roxanne quickly hit things off and became like siblings. Though Reese couldn’t hear, she was always aware when Roxanne was barking. She watched the older dog and one day, she decided to copy her!
Giving it her very best, Reese let out a few “barks” just like Roxanne. Except, they weren’t quite barks. Instead, Reese was just opening her out in a barking movement, but nothing was coming out!

The sweet pup couldn’t seem to tell a difference, and instead, was proud of learning something new! At the very end of her “barking,” the dog let out the quietest whine – close enough to a bark, right?
Ramos filmed Reese’s barking and uploaded the clip to TikTok, writing, “who’s gonna tell her.”

To be honest, it must be nice to have a quiet dog in the home! It’s clear that Reese won’t grow up to be a guard dog, but she probably won’t wake any sleeping babies, either.
