A woman named Corey is sharing a warning with other women and it’s leaving some viewers with chills.
She took to TikTok and explained that she’s new to the dating scene. She said, “I had a weird gut feeling about this guy, like really, really weird from the beginning.”
She is a model who went out on a date with a man that she had met three times previously. Their last date took place at a Los Angeles gym and this is where something odd happened. Corey got home and ended up finding her date’s Apple Airpods in her bag.
While that wouldn’t be weird by itself, she thought it was strange he hadn’t reached out to her about losing them. After all, they are not cheap to replace.
“My gut reaction was, he’s tracking me, which he absolutely was because there’s literally no other reason. Why would he put his AirPods in my bag and not tell me?” she speculated. Once AirPods have been misplaced, they can be tracked with the usage of the Find My app until the devices die, which is what Corey believes the man was doing.
Corey even claims that she reached out to him and asked him if he was aware of the fact that they were gone. “Did you steal them?” was his response. Like anyone else, she was startled by this. Why would she even call to ask?
When she asked for his address so that she could give them back, he said he didn’t want them and had already replaced them. Corey was not willing to let this go and she kept asking the man how the AirPods got into her bag but he was not providing answers.
“He was just like, ‘You’re overthinking it. I already bought new ones. Throw them in a lake,’” she shared.

While it could’ve been an honest mistake, Corey feels it was much more nefarious. Either way, it’s a good reminder to always be aware of your surroundings!
