Two crime scene cleaners decided to provide TikTok with a closer look at what they do for a living. The results are interesting, to say the least.

Tom DeSena and Junior Lallbachan are based out of Florida but they work up and down the eastern seaboard. They work for National Crime Scene Cleanup, taking care of extreme hoarding situations and crime scene biohazards. They got the job last October and have been sharing random days of work with their TikTok followings ever since.

The videos they share may be triggering for some people since they contain mentions of mental health issues, including suicide ideation.

These videos have allowed them to garner a major following, as they now have over 200,000 people checking out their bizarre exploits.

They are also providing very honest answers to anyone who is looking to make their way into the field. “You have to have a strong stomach, you have to really want to help people, and you need to be able to work 24/7 (on call),” they replied to one commentator who asked how it is done. “You need GED as well,” they continued.

Tom and Junior shared on TikTok that their days can start at any time. For one job, they shared on TikTok that they had to drive down to West Virginia and this call came in at 9 PM on a Saturday night.

They confirmed that they are paid for the actual drives that they make as well, in case anyone was curious about this aspect of the job.

They work long hours and the work itself can be challenging. The hoarding cleanups tend to be more strenuous from a physical standpoint, while the crime scene cleanups are more taxing mentally.

“Every single day is different,” DeSena says. “Whether it’s a similar death, weapon, or demographic of people, it’s always unique. You can only prepare so much.”

Once you have had the chance to see these videos for yourself, you are going to be flabbergasted at what these men have to deal with. It sounds like a relatively simple job on paper but if you are asking us? They deserve a raise of some kind.
