If you ever lived in a dorm room at college, you realize that it isn’t everything that you need it to be.
The space is cramped and often, you are dealing with too much stuff and not enough places to put it.
Every once in a while, however, we hear about somebody who does something with their bedroom that really makes us wonder why people haven’t been doing it all along.
That is what Colby Gunther did, and after sharing the video on TikTok, people can’t get enough of it.
As Gunther explained in the video, they got some inspiration from the Drake & Josh Nickelodeon show. The bedroom was unique, to say the least, and allowed the stepbrothers to coincide in an awesome way.
In order to bring a little bit of this Nickelodeon magic to their room, Gunther worked with his roommate to copy as much as they could.
They ended up with an elevated platform that provided a stable place to sleep and all of the room that could possibly want.
Gunther reviewed the setup and told TikTok how he had elevated the bed with a wood platform so that they have extra storage.

They have a movable mini fridge, dual shoe racks, and a lot of space underneath to store anything they need.
People started asking questions almost right away, and Gunther was more than happy to answer. He ended up posting a follow-up video that showed how the room looked before the platform beds.

In the end, people on that social platform were thrilled with what they were able to do. Now I need one for my room.
