I’m always on the lookout for ways to make cleaning and other house chores easier. Magic Erasers from Mr. Clean were a total game-changer when I first found them! Now you can find similar products in pretty much any grocery store, gas station, and big box store. If you’ve never used Magic Erasers before, they are simply thick, foamy sponges with cleaning substances inside.

Magic Erasers are most well-known for their ability to clean smudges off walls and scuff marks on shoes. However, there are tons of other ways to use this cleaning product. Before we get started, I’ll give you a pro-tip: If the cleaning project you’re working on is rather small, you can cut the Magic Eraser in half or even quarters to help it last longer.

1. White Spots on Tupperware.

I always thought the white spots on Tupperware and other plastic ware were permanent. After scrubbing several times to no avail, I usually give up and resign to having stained Tupperware. However, it’s actually quite simple to remove these marks if you have the right tools. Using a bit of elbow grease and a Magic Eraser, these spots will come out in no time!

2. Hard water stains.

I didn’t appreciate the battle over hard water stains until I moved to a different state last year. My new place has very hard water, and I was unprepared to deal with it. It seemed no matter how much I tried keeping up with the cleaning, more hard water stains popped up on dishes, in sinks, and on appliances. Now I know I can easily clean hard water stains with a Magic Eraser!

3. Deodorant Stains

We’ve all experienced those pesky deodorant stains from time to time. Putting on fresh deodorant followed by a dark shirt can often result in deodorant residue left on your clothes. Once the shirt has gone through the wash, these stains become set in and even more difficult to remove. Next time, simply brush off the area with a Magic Eraser! The residue comes right off. You can then toss the shirt in the wash like normal.

4. Sticker Gunk

Sticker gunk is one of the most frustrating substances on earth, at least in my opinion. Whether it’s peeling a wayward sticker off the wall or a label on a new picture frame or mug, it seems the stuff forms a chemical bond with whatever it’s attached to! Next time this happens, you can use a Magic Eraser to scrub it off. You’ll be amazed at how much easier it is to clean surfaces this way!

5. Car – Inside & Out

Magic Erasers aren’t just great for inside the house. These little gems work wonders inside and outside of your car as well. Use Magic Erasers to clean windows, scuff marks on the side of the door, even upholstery stains. Perhaps one of the most impressive things these Magic Erasers can do is clean off greasy tire rims. There’s one thing for sure – if Magic Erasers can handle the grease and grime of a tire rim, they can stand up to pretty much any job you give them!
