It goes without saying that most of us do not like to be cooped up inside for extended periods of time. However, that does not mean that we should be spending this quarantine period moping and complaining. It is time to make the most of our free time and we might as well make ourselves useful, as opposed to sitting around on our butts the whole time.

Chrissy Teigen’s mother is here to help out by providing us with a fabulous recipe to try: the legendary Teigan Pad Thai, a family favorite. Chrissy prepares it for her children all of the time. While the food is certainly tasty, this dish comes with another unexpected benefit that we would be remiss not to mention.

You can prepare the Pad Thai recipe that Chrissy’s mother shared in just a few short minutes! This is one of the best ideas for those who are not looking to spend a significant amount of time in the kitchen. We have all had a few of those days where afternoon happy hour seems to get the better of us.

The Pad Thai can be made with virtually any ingredients that you have on hand. Chrissy says that her mother will usually opt for beef instead of chicken. If you like onions or bell peppers, those can be added as well. The possibilities are endless. The real star of the show is her mother’s sauce. It’s not a recipe that you are going to find anywhere.
