Chipotle Shared Its Guacamole Recipe So You Can Make It At Home
It’s easier than you’d expect and tastes exactly the same.
Anyone who has ever eaten at Chipotle before has probably consumed an insane amount of guacamole. It’s a rite of passage for anyone who dines there and it seems to be different than any other guac we’ve tried. Thankfully, Chipotle is finally letting us in on its best-kept secret: The guac recipe.
Now, you will be able to replicate their wonderful recipe in the privacy of your own home. Chipotle has been offering up all sorts of recipes during the quarantine period and we are forever in their debt. Cooking at home allows us to save money, but it can be boring to eat the same things over and over again (which is where Chipotle’s awesome tutorials come in).
Chad Brauze is the Chipotle Executive Chef and he has been sharing recipes since April. He finally announced the guacamole recipe and we truly recreate a Chipotle bowl at home.
To get started, all you need are some basic items that are present in most kitchens: Kosher salt, jalapeño, red onion, cilantro, limes, and avocados. The amount of each that you need will depend on the amount of guac you’re trying to make.
