A father took to Reddit to share his hilarious and horrifying cake topper fail, and the Internet cna’t get enough. The poor dad just wanted to celebrate his son’s first birthday in style, but what he got is not what he bargained for.
They wanted to celebrate their son, Isaac’s, first birthday with a space-themed cake.
He posted to Reddit, explaining, “My son turned 1 yesterday. This was the topper to his space themed cake. Left is what we ordered, right is what we got.”
Once the post was shared on Reddit, everyone got to see what the problem was. If you are anything like us, you cannot stop laughing at what has happened here.

The post got well over 100,000 likes on Reddit, as people correctly pointed out all of the problems with this cake topper. The topper that he got looks like the aged version of the one that he actually asked for. At least his son won’t remember this. He is going to be learning about this one as an adult, though….we are willing to bet.
As it turns out, the wife provided a photo of their son and asked for them to make the topper look as much like him as possible. It’s possible that’s why the topper came out so different from the reference photo. The dad shared a photo of the completed cake due to popular demand and it looks like it’ll be delicious if nothing else:

We sincerely hope that the family got a refund, but they seem to have a good sense of humor about the whole thing.SKM: below-content placeholder
