Making Mealtime Meaningful: Discover how we're giving back with the 12T Cares program →

Sergey Lesnoy and his friend Tyson are definitely an industrious sort. These two friends saw some old wooden pallets and they had big ideas for them.

It was not long before they were using them to construct their own little house out in the woods. The frame of the house was constructed first and from there, Sergey was sure to add to use slats to fill in the rest.

From there, the roof was nailed in. Sergey and Tyson thought of everything, including lining the roof with the necessary waterproof material.

This house is every bit as cozy as a lot of the homes that you will find in nonwooded areas. In addition to the waterproofing, they were sure to add windows, hooks, furniture, a loft, and a chimney.

It’s the sort of house that we would not mind living in. Who wouldn’t love to have a nice getaway like this one? We would probably hold onto this one in addition to our current house. It took a lot of elbow grease but these two men have managed to create an awesome getaway for themselves. All of that sawing and hammering definitely paid off for these gentlemen.

If nothing else, we have received the necessary inspiration to come up with our own little home away from home.

We may not be able to pull off something like this out in the woods like these guys did but there’s nothing wrong with taking a little bit of motivation from what they have accomplished. If they can do it, why can’t we?
