“This sounds terrible. I have to try it.”
Candy corn is one of the more polarizing candies on the market at the moment. People love talking about how much they hate candy corn, to the point where we are starting to find ourselves on the other side of the conversation. It’s not our favorite candy (best in small doses, to be honest), but it’s not as bad as the haters say.
Brach’s has decided to seriously test our resolve. Their newest variety features candy corn that is supposed to taste like a turkey dinner. We’re not going to lie to you, we are kind of revolted and kind of intrigued at the same time.
We are not sure if we are going to be taking any home because a whole bag is quite the investment. What happens if we don’t like it? When Instagram user @candyhunting first shared the news on their account, we did not know what to make of it. The candy corn is not only designed to taste like turkey, but also stuffing, sweet potato pie, ginger glazed carrots, cranberry sauce, and green beans.
If we had to guess, the candy corns probably correspond with the colors of the foods that are listed above.

Behold! Turkey Dinner candy corn. Yes, this is real. @hustlekitten just found them at Walgreens, so naturally I called my nearest store. They had them in the back! Flavors include: Green Beans, Roasted Turkey, Cranberry Sauce, Ginger Glazed Carrot, Sweet Potato Pie, and Stuffing. As much as this is weird, I'm even more impressed that Brach's/Ferrara had the fries to make this product. Huge thanks to @hustlekitten for the tip on these!
If you are looking to enjoy a full Thanksgiving dinner before the fall season rolls around, this candy corn is the way to go. Those who are looking to purchase these peculiar candies should head to Walgreens or any store that has a wide range of Brach’s items.
We are still debating the merits of grabbing a bag for ourselves at the moment. A comment on @candyhunting put it best, though. “This sounds terrible. I have to try it,” they said.SKM: below-content placeholder
