Like many women, Aleah Tompkins is someone who does not want to be seen as a traditional bride. That’s why she made certain amendments to her wedding.
When she had her wedding in Costa Rica back in March, she knew that she wanted it to take place by the seaside. However, she knew that she did not want to have flower girls.
This was too plain and simple for her. That’s why she decided against the idea almost immediately. When you see what she came up with instead, you won’t be able to believe your eyes.
“We had my husband’s frat brother serve as the ‘beer boy’ at our wedding,” Tompkins said, according to the New York Post.
In fact, this is not the first time that someone has made this sort of decision in the past. The #BeerBoy hashtag says it all. It’s gotten over 30 million views on TikTok, as more and more people are making this decision to spice up their weddings a bit and provide them with an actual buzz, so to speak.
Tompkins shared a video of her “Beer Boy” on TikTok and it was a big hit.
Austin Hoyt is the one who was tasked with handing out the beer and he’s got the perfect personality for it. The couple refers to him merely as “Hoyt” because he has the same first name as Aleah’s husband. All 50 guests were treated to all sorts of alcohol related goodies.
They were given a choice. They could either enjoy some Costa Rican lager or have some pre-mixed shots of vodka and cranberry juice poured down their throats. Hoyt was more than happy to take on this task.
He was rocking some snug hip hugging shorts, there were no sleeves on his tuxedo jacket and did we mention he was shirtless. The beer harness he had on held six cans apiece and he danced to AC/DC as he handed them out.
