Making Mealtime Meaningful: Discover how we're giving back with the 12T Cares program →

It’s that time of year again! Summer has gone away and we’re excited to usher in the fall season with these hearty and flavorful recipes! While everyone usually rushes to stand in line for a pumpkin spice latte (admittedly, we love them too), we’re really excited for some of the more savory flavors of fall – chili, minestrone soup, pork loin… the list goes on and on. Plus, all of the recipes on this list can be made in the slow cooker. Win-win! Check out some of our favorite easy fall recipes and try one out this week!

Slow Cooker Garlic Mashed Potatoes

We came up with a way to make delicious mashed potatoes with a fraction of the effort! Slow cookers really never cease to amaze us and we let them do all the work for us; 5 minutes of prep, later followed by a few minutes of mashing and stirring, and you’re done! Get the full recipe here.

Slow Cooker Southwest Chili

Nothing beats a good chili on a cold day. We wanted to create a hearty, hot chili in true Southwest style: plenty of meat, plenty of beans, and of course corn. To make easy chili, the slow cooker felt natural. From there, it was finding the right layer of ingredients to really make this chili shine. Get our delicious recipe here!

Slow Cooker Applesauce Pork Loin

We love this particular recipe because it’s almost a whole meal in itself. Add a salad or some bread and you’re good to go! The honey mustard mixture flavors the pork beautifully and the slowly cooked applesauce adds a sweetness that is just meant to go along with tender, falling apart pork. The steps to make this slow cooked pork are totally simple, but the taste is anything but. We love it too because it makes great leftovers… if it lasts that long!
