Loren Larsen

Loren is the Executive Chef of our kitchen classroom space, Table for 12, in downtown Edmonds, and creates fun cooking content with our 12 Tomatoes team. Loren’s love of cooking was sparked by his grandmother, who was the matriarch of the family and “twice the cook that I am,” as Loren puts it. In high school, he worked as a pizza maker, dishwasher, delivery driver and afterwards, moved to San Francisco where he really cut his teeth as an industry level food professional. There, he trained under certified Master Chef Eric Gallanter for seven years and worked in many premier restaurants in the Bay Area. Seeking more, he pivoted into volume service where he was the chef of the Golden State Warriors, Oakland Raiders training camps, and the 3x world champion San Francisco Giants. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his children, and training in boxing and kickboxing.
