Yarn artists are some of the most amazing people on the planet, in our eyes. Their ability to take a common item that we use every day and create magic is hard to top.

Ka Trin is one such artist who creates the sort of thoroughly detailed patterns that you can hardly imagine.

She was able to make two amigurumi crocheted peacock spiders, Maratus personatus and Maratus speciosus. Best of all, she even offered up a hilarious explanation. As it turns out, this is not the first time that she has considered all of the awesome traits that the peacock spiders of the world have to offer.

“Peacock spiders are famous for their fancy dance moves. If you always wanted a cuddly version of a peacock spider you‘re in luck!” said Trin.

We are going to be honest with you, we cannot stop staring at these bad boys. There are certain crochet projects that make us wonder if the person who is responsible for them is a sorcerer of some kind.

These critters make us want to step our crochet game up so that we can hang with the experts like Ka Trin. We wish that she would give us a personal tutorial, but for now, we will settle for staring at her creations for another hour or two.

You can buy a pattern for the crochet spiders on her Etsy shop for $3.09
