Alabama BBQ Sauce
A craveably delicious sweet BBQ sauce that will blow your socks off!

A white barbecue sauce is something I would never think existed past aioli or remoulade. It’s like honey mustard meets Sweet Baby Rays. It’s a sweet and savory BBQ that looks runny at first, but as a mayo-based sauce you realize how well it clings to hot grilled meats. It makes the meat glisten as the mayo melts into the meat. It’s a masterclass in recipe creation and I don’t know how Alabama did it, but I love you Alabama.

What Ingredients Are In Alabama BBQ Sauce?
It is a mayo based sauce, but there are some other sneaky additions that make this BBQ sauce sweet, tangy, and a little spicy.
- Mayo.
- Apple cider vinegar.
- Apple cider.
- Sugar.
- Salt & pepper.
- Lemon juice.
- Horseradish.
- Cayenne pepper.

This is like liquid glitter sauce. At first it will look ranch coated, but then the mayo starts melting and it becomes one with the chicken. In minutes your grilled chicken legs transform into glisten-y Twilight vampire-like sauce. Sauce-y in the best ways.

Mix this together and refrigerate for as long as you can. Like all white sauces, more time chilling makes the flavor blossom.

This sauce can be thinned if too thick and adjusted with mayo if too thin, either way make this recipe. Change up your family BBQ with a few pieces of meat coated in this or jar this sauce and exchange it as a holiday or birthday gift. Homemade gifts are underrated and very appreciated. It even makes for a fabulous dipping sauce. The possibilities are endless when it comes to this amazing sauce.
