Peach Jello Pretzel Salad

Have you ever heard of pretzel salad before? If not, it might sound completely confounding…but that’s probably just because it’s a very retro recipe that was popular in the 1960s and that isn’t really a salad at all. That’s right, although it’s most commonly referred to one, this dish is a dessert that doesn’t look anything like a salad – although it does have pretzels in it, so at least that part of the name makes sense. So what’s in this dessert? A deliciously buttery and cinnamon-y pretzel crust, topped with a thick layer of sweetened cream cheese, and, finally, a jello layer speckled with your choice of fruit.

Cranberry Millionaire Salad

Not only is this cranberry millionaire salad totally delicious and addictive, but it’s also the prettiest color, which we adore. (We love when our food looks just as great as it tastes, so this salad is a definite win for us.) Those two facts combined make this dish absolutely perfect for the holidays; watch, if you bring this to any party in or around the holiday season, people will go crazy for it! It’s sweet, fruity and refreshing, and no one can resist once they take that first bite. Get the crowd pleasing recipe here!

Pistacio Fluff

Growing up, we remember our grandmother whipping up pistachio fluff salad for pretty much every family gathering. We don’t let the “dated” nature of the dessert keep us from enjoying something so delicious; pistachio fluff salad is the perfect ending to a meal because it is light and not overly sweet. This old-school recipe is a throwback to the past; it’s so easy to make and uses just a few ingredients. Get the simple recipe here!
