Making Mealtime Meaningful: Discover how we're giving back with the 12T Cares program →

Snow is a real pain in the backside for some of us. Meanwhile, there are others who live by a very wise old saying. If life gives you lemons, it is time to make lemonade.

This Minnesota native put that plan into action when they got a sizable amount of snowfall. While most of us are no strangers to building a snowman when the white stuff starts to pile up outside, this man took it to a whole new level.

He built a snowman that is so tall, you will have to see it in order to believe it. We are not exaggerating here in the slightest. This is the single largest snowman that we have ever personally laid eyes on, although we are willing to allow that there may be larger ones that have been built somewhere in the world.

Eric Fobbe of Buffalo, Minnesota, embarked on the mission last week and he was finally able to reach the finish line, as Anastasia Fobbe shared on Facebook.

Wright County is where he resides and heavy snowfall is not uncommon there. 30-foot snowmen, on the other hand? This is not something that you are usually going to see in this location, that is for sure.

If you are in the area and would like to see the snowman for yourself, you can drive past the Fobbe family front yard. According to Fox 2 Detroit, they reside at the corner of Buffalo Run Road and Rodeo Drive in Buffalo. The giant snowman was not made with just the snow that Eric had available to him in his own yard, either.

He had kind neighbors that were willing to let him have their snow for this project and we are sure that they were more than happy to give it away. Once he gathered up all of the snow from the neighbors’ yards, he grabbed a snow blower and set about the task of creating one massive pile of snow. He needed a ladder and some temporary stairs to finish the project.

His wife is extremely proud of his handiwork and has shared his work on her Facebook page. In the meantime, Eric is working around the clock to ensure that his snowman maintains its proper shape. “When it’s sunny out, or it’s over 30 degrees, I’ll come home from work, and I’ll notice it’s shrunk a little bit, so I’m out here adding snow to it non-stop,” he told Fox 2 Detroit.
