Buying a home is one of the most arduous tasks that a person can take on and even the happiest couples can end up struggling with it. While there are many couples who would prefer to find a home that is relatively perfect, this is often easier said than done. The same can be said when it comes to finding a home with a stylistic motif that will hold up over the course of time.

On the other hand, there are couples who would rather find a home that serves as a time capsule of a bygone era. They enjoy the time warp aspect of these homes, sincerely. Alysha and Nate Jackson are among these couples and you won’t be able to believe the home that they found. It was built in 1975 and it has not been touched since then.

You would think that a 50-year-old house would look much worse by now but the residence appears to be untouched. We are stunned by this home’s pristine appearance and we are sure that this couple was, too. In fact, the home has since been shared all over social media because so many people are stunned by its beauty.

It just goes to show that everything that is old can one day become new again. The highlight of the home is the carpet, which is the same color as Barney the dinosaur. If you are anything like us, you have never seen a carpet this vibrant before and your eyes were drawn to it almost immediately.

This is actually their second property and the family made the purchase in Indiana. Their first home is located in Florida.
