Yeast Infections

Yeast can grow out of control with an unhealthy balance of microbes in the gut. This imbalance can show up as skin infections, fungal infections, yeast infections, and a condition known as candida. Eating too much sugar supports the imbalance of bacteria in your gut, so if you’re experiencing any of these kinds of infections, the first step is to eliminate sugar!

Acid Reflux

We’ve all experienced the discomfort of heartburn from time to time, especially after a spicy meal or eating too late at night right before going to bed. However, if you experience constant, unrelenting heartburn, this is most likely due to an unhealthy gut. Especially if you take an antacid and it doesn’t help. The antacid actually feeds the unhealthy bacteria and causes it to grow more by weakening the good bacteria. Normally, the good bacteria should be able to fight off syptoms of heartburn, but if you keep throwing antacids in the mix, they never get the chance to exercise those muscles! Try more greens and less sugar in your diet for an all natural way to build of your good bacteria!
