When this landlord walked past their tenant’s house, they saw a sight that they never could have expected. We cannot blame the landlord for being so worried, either. If this was our tenant, we would have been terrified as well. TikToker @awanadance is here to share this story of an awkward encounter that she had with her landlord and we are unable to regain our composure.

It’s almost too funny to put into words but we are going to try our absolute best to tell the story. The landlord happened to be outside of the apartment complex and saw a video of a yule log playing on her television set. While there is certainly nothing wrong with that, it is easy to see why the landlord was so concerned at the time when she was walking past.

How was she supposed to know that things were this innocent? In her mind, there was a fire taking place inside of the property and she needed to make sure that everything was okay. It’s very understandable but that does not make it any less hilarious to watch.

“Our landlord just texted us a video saying, ‘OMG, the fireplace on your TV makes it [look] like the building is on fire,” it says in the video.

When we first checked out the clip, you can clearly see the massive television that depicts a video of a massive burning log. From there, the video jumps to the perspective of the landlord, so that viewers can see how scary this must have been for them.

It looked like the home had burst into flames and we are sure that the landlord just wanted to make sure that the tenant was okay.

The video has received over four million views on TikTok and the comments were absolutely priceless. We would have contracted the fire department if we had come across this sight on a casual stroll through the neighborhood as well.
