Many people dream about traveling the world and seeing some of the unusual destinations that are out there. It seems as if those dreams might also be localized, which is a rather interesting thing when you see them laid out on a map.

If you had one place you could visit in the world, where would it be? Many people would visit landmarks such as the Eiffel Tower or the pyramids.

As it turns out, your choice may very well be the choice that your next-door neighbor or someone else in your community would choose.

Kuoni is a luxury travel company that wants to help you know what people in your area are interested in seeing. They looked at Google analytics and trends to see what people were searching for and they came up with the most popular places on a state-by-state basis.

These are not destinations within the United States, but rather, it shows you where people in the United States would like to visit. It breaks it down by location and you might be surprised with how it does change from one state to another.

So if you are interested in seeing another area of the world, regardless of whether it is the Great Wall of China or another landmark, you might just have a neighbor that wants to do the same. Check out the map below:
