There is a lot to be said for simple living and I think that a woman named Shannon is very aware of that fact. We live in an age of tiny living but Sharon, who was a pharmacist before she retired, decided to pack her bags, walk away from her home, and choose mobile, simplified living at its best. In order to do so, she purchased a 2015 TAB Teardrop trailer and it is now her full-time home that she pulls with her four-door Jeep Wrangler.
You will find roughly 12 feet of interior living space inside of this tiny trailer, but Sharon is as happy as a clam. The trailer comes equipped with a two-burner stove but she still cooks outside whenever possible.
“The best thing about a little rig like this is it forces you to spend a lot of time about outside,” she revealed to CheapRVliving. “When you’re doing this lifestyle, it’s about being out in nature and enjoying other people. When you’re in a little rig, you can hole up too long or you’ll get a little nuts and you got to come outside.”
You may be wondering where her bedroom is. It is the sofa, which folds down and creates a bed. She leaves it in that position most of the time. There is also a tiny washroom, but the toilet and shower are enough to get the job done. Also included in the trailer are heat, air conditioning, and a television.
Some people may be asking if Sharon is going to go back to traditional living but, it doesn’t sound like it. She said that she never looked back, saying that she feels the lifestyle and the people she meets is an amazing way to live. She’s lived in houses and lived in condos and she has even had some nice apartments. The problem was, she never knew her neighbors, but on the road, she meets people constantly.
